Mixed

The mixed technique consists of combining different painting techniques or materials (watercolor, colored pencil, acrylic, oil, etc.) to achieve more varied and specific final touches.

The first modern work of art to be considered mixed medium is Pablo Picasso’s 1912 collage, Naturaleza muerta con silla trenzada, which used paper, fabric, paint, and rope to create a pseudo-3D effect.
